DEBATE FRIDAY:
When a drug dealer and his client meet, who is more at fault? The drug dealer for selling the drugs or the client for buying the drugs?
Ok guys just to be clear...they are both in the wrong however in my opinion, the drug dealer is more at fault. HEAR ME OUT BEFORE YOU EXIT THIS POST!! Most people argue that the client has the choice to choose whether he will buy the drug or not. If people weren't buying the drugs, the drug dealers wouldn't be selling because they wouldn't earn $2000 per pick up. I get all that and those who share that view, you have a valid point...BUT
If drugs won't available to the masses, we avoid the possibility of people taking drugs, getting addicted and potentially ruining their lives. Example: Many of us have been in situations where we end up sampling a drug because a friend or classmate offers it to us whether it be a bag of cocaine or a little weed in the form of a weed cake. Prior to that moment, we have no interest in drugs however because our friend or friends are into it (peer pressure), we try it. Now it depends on the person, some people feel nothing while others get hooked on the drug. This addiction leads to nothing but negative effects and a lot of the time the person never gets over the addiction.
Once again, I do agree with the fact that whether someone buys a drug or not is their choice, but with the many influences that can persuade the person, the drug shouldn't be available in the first place...So the drug dealer is more at fault.
What do you think? Agree/Disagree?
It is the person who bought the drugs fault. everyone needs to make money if someone sees an open market they with persons looking to spend their money. whether he sells or somebody else the person must get it especially Americans they tend to use all type of stuff when they don't get what they want. the drug dealer just took the opportunity to make money.
ReplyDeletesome of us who our friends introduce us and we say no. no is two letter word that we are all taught. so if you take drug that's your vibe and you the person are to blame.
That's true. I am not saying you shouldn't blame the person for buying the drugs, however this question like many others isn't all black and white. In a scenario, where the client is someone who has had a messed up backstory and a crappy life, the dealer offers relief in the form of drugs. Isn't the dealer more at fault for exploiting the client's situation and weakness to just make a profit.
